Thanks for your replies guys.

@Nizar, I totally agree that Google's attempt at the 'Wiki' is a few years too late, but there is no doubt that the service will be used. I mean look at 'Orkut', Google's answer to Facebook. No one thought that would take off, but it certainly has. Obviously nowhere near eclipsing Facebook, but that, my friend was never Google's plan - just to simply eat as much market share from the biggest competitor... That's all it takes to piss them off!

I think that, this case is like google/msn search engine case.. msn did everything in order to improve its search engine and make it popular, but it was too late..
Google, will make whatever everything in order to defeat the Wiki, but its too late, Wiki is widespread, the only difference is that its not a search engine but a huge "book" which people modify, and since the wiki is very known to more people, more people will modify it and it will have more information, therefore people will prefare it and use it.
If we look at the function of :
x - people visiting wikipedia
y - information in wikipedia
we see that the function is going upward (i dont know how do we say this in english lol)
I wish I could upload a picture in order to be more clear.. anyway..

thanks for the article chebzy

I hate to see another five star rating system. It would be a nice joke to implement a five-stars to black hole ! Or, as I say on the google groups, Stars taste like gangs.
